Stone Glacier’s Sky 5900 has been updated for 2019 with the all new carbon fiber stay system. When on a Medium Xcurve, Stone Glacier’s Sky 5900 weighs in at 5 lb 8.8 oz, off the frame is weighs in at 2 lb 6.72 oz. Whether you’re running in bivy-mode (4,300 cubic inches), full volume (5,900 cubic inches), or with the added shelf (max volume of 8,000 cubic inches plus) you will find this pack suits all your needs. A 22” front vertical pocket, sized to fit even the largest of optics, gives you quick access to your scope. Stone Glacier’s Sky 5900 has attachment points for Swing Out Pockets just inside the zipper. This enables you to gain access to small items you might need on the trail. There are large external pockets with top access on each side of the pack to conveniently carry a tripod, water bottle, or rifle stock.
The Stone Glacier Sky 5900 is made with Cordura 500 and Xpac fabric, heavy-duty 1” Duraflex military approved buckles and webbing, and is hydration compatible.
This made in the USA pack can be out fitted with the Stone Glacier Sky Series Lid, and Stone Glacier’s Sky Top Compression Straps.

After years of research and development we have created the most advanced frame stay system yet. Increased strength, reduced weight, and added comfort are all improvements for 2019 to the already industry leading Xcurve Frame.
The revolutionary Xcurve Frame combines pack frame comfort and lightweight durability like never before. The anatomically matched curvature of the frame conforms to your lower-back and torso for unmatched load-bearing comfort.
Using 4 carbon fiber composite stays in an “X” configuration, the Xcurve incorporates curvature to match the lumbar and upper back contours for increased weight distribution and comfort under heavy load. The unique “X” stay configuration increases both vertical frame strength and eliminates any lateral shift, especially for loads over 100 pounds.
The Powerlock hip belt has forward assist pull with locking features to eliminate any webbing slip, even under the heaviest of loads. The tighter the belt is adjusted, the tighter the lock on the webbing. The Powerlock hip belt also has adjustable upper and lower tensioners to cup the hips and equalize pressure for the full width of the belt, regardless of body shape. Dual density foam and improved belt shape all combine for more comfort under heavy loads.
The Xcurve shoulder straps offer increased foam density for comfort, increased vertical torso adjustment for shorter torsos, and increased width adjustment to better match the curvature over the shoulders. The Xcurve is compatible with all past and present SG bags and uses the same load shelf features and function that defines all Stone Glacier packs.
The Xcurve was designed to provide the utmost comfort and stability under the heaviest of loads, a perfect blend of lightweight design and heavy load hauler. Xcurve frame weighs 3 lbs with Medium Belt.
